Which team is the best in the world at water cooled hockey?
The New York Rangers, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Boston Bruins all have water cooled ice hockey teams, according to a new survey conducted by The Associated Press.
The study, released Tuesday, also found that four NHL teams, including the New York Islanders, Boston Bruins, New Jersey Devils, and Los Angeles Rams, all have at least one water-cooled player.
The Associated Press poll, conducted by TNS Analytics, polled more than 10,000 people, including fans and coaches, about their preference for a water-saturated game.
The team that had the most respondents preferred ice hockey, with 76% saying they prefer to watch it with a large group of friends, while just 14% preferred to watch with just two or fewer friends.
The average age of the fans surveyed was 29.2.
The average number of people in the arena for a game was 8, while the average number participating was 14, with the average age being 35.
A total of 976 respondents said they attended games with more than two people.
A smaller percentage of respondents said two or more people were in the crowd.
The most popular game was a game in which three people were playing in the same arena, with 65% of respondents choosing that option, while 15% chose the other option.
More than half of respondents also preferred watching the game on the ice, while 11% preferred watching it on the water.
