Hint: You’ll need a boat to sail through the ocean | Fortune
We live in a world where boats can get away with murder.
If you can’t afford one, you’re probably not going to have a good time on the water.
But the truth is, we all need boats.
If we didn’t have boats, the ocean would be a sea of death.
And it’s that same truth behind the water in Hint, a new game that tells the story of a boat captain who’s trying to sail the seas with his boat, despite a lack of money.
Hint is coming to Xbox One on December 1, and it looks pretty damn awesome.
The game was inspired by a real life story, according to CEO Brian Hahn, who explained that the team wanted to capture the spirit of the ocean while also making it a more engaging experience.
Players take control of a former captain of a privateer vessel who’s attempting to sail across the ocean and discover the true meaning of life.
The game has been in development for about a year, but it’s Hahn’s first major game to be released on consoles.
We’re looking at a pretty epic storyline, and we’re going to tell it in a really fun, unique way.
We want to keep things fun and unique, which is what we’re looking for in a game like this, but also really capture the feeling of the water, Hahn said.
He also said that the game will take advantage of the Xbox One’s new power of Kinect, giving players a 360-degree view.
Hints will be available on Xbox One starting December 1 and on PC on December 4.
